"Why Africa is Losing its Dignity" is a great article. I agree with everything written in it. The debate on foreign aid, however, has to be shifted in another way, in my view. Stopping aid is almost impossible. Too much vested interest. Furthermore, aid has become an industry, replete with its own lobbyists, consultants, etc. who will fight to maintain the status quo.
